Step No. 1

First you have to download the desire Custom ROM for your Android device. Make sure that you have downloaded the right build for your Android Device, otherwise you will end up in bricking up your device.

Step No. 2

As we all know that the custom ROMs do not features any Google Applications pre-installed due to copyright restrictions, so you have to download it separately. You can download the required Gapps from this link.

Step No. 3

After you have finished downloading the your custom ROM and the Google Applications Package (Gaaps), then transfer both these downloaded files to the internal storage of your phone.

Step No. 4

Now disconnect your Android device from your Laptop/PC and then boot into Recovery Menu. There are different ways to get into recovery mode for different devices, but usually it can be down by pressing and holding Power + Home + Volume down button at the same time, till you see the Android Logo.

Step No. 5

Once you get into the recovery menu, then select the “wipe data/factory reset” and after that clear the cache memory by selecting the “wipe cache partition”. Now go back, and select ‘advanced’ and then tap “wipe dalvik cache”.

Now when you have done all this, now select install zip form SD card option and then select the custom ROM ZIP file that you had transferred to the device’s internal storage earlier. The flashing process should be completed in under a minute.

Now repeat the last step again and flash Google Apps package.

When the installation process is completed, now you have to go back to the main recovery menu by choosing the +++++GO back+++++ option and the choose Reboot system now and wait till it get back on. On first boot up, it will take some time (5 to 15 minutes) so don’t get worried and wait.
